The EngineTest Vibration System (ETVS) is specifically designed for use
in measuring vibration within a test environment. The software for the
server component of the ETVS is the same that is used in large (512)
channel R&D type systems scaled back to function in an 8-channel
(typical) vibration environment.
Appropriate signal conditioning is provided on the system and the conditioned signals are then fed directly into National Instruments high-speed cards for processing. All data can be recorded on the disk and played back through the system or processed with the post-processing software.
The ETVS software allows for continuous calculation of tracked values, broadband values, frequency and time domain display and analysis and seamlessly feeds the results back into the ETRTS for inclusion in logs and displays there.
